Three men have been arrested in Co. Tipperary, following a seizure of drugs with an estimated street value of 240 thousand euro.
Customs discovered 7kg of herbal Cannabis worth an estimated 140 thousand euro, believed to have originated in Spain, at a premises in Roscrea.
Three Lithuanian males - one in his late teens and two in their mid 20s - were arrested by Gardai at the scene and have been detained at Nenagh Garda Station.
In a follow up search at another address in Roscrea, a package containing 5kg of herbal cannabis was seized, with an estimated street value of 100 thousand euro.
The discoveries were part of a joint operation by Revenue's Customs Service, the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, along with the Roscrea Divisional Drugs Unit.
