Three men are being questioned by Gardai in Cork following a drive by shooting in the city last night.
A man in his twenties was wounded when a gunman on a motorbike fired several shots at him in the Hollyhill area shortly before 9pm.
He was taken to the Mercy University Hospital for injuries to his arm.
Another man in his twenties was arrested for questioning a short time later and taken to Gurranabraher station for questioning.
Gardai arrested another two men and seized a quantity of heroin in the course of a number of follow up searches after the shooting.
One was taken to the Bridewell station in the city for questioning, while another is being held at Mayfield.
