Three people have been killed after a small airplane crashed into a residential area of the Japanese capital, Tokyo.
The five-seater plane crashed at about 2am The plane crashed upside down in the wreckage of a burnt-out house, shortly after it had departed from Chofu airport in Tokyo.
Two male passengers died instantly and a woman who was inside one of the houses was also killed.
Five people are receiving treatment for injuries.
