A Boeing 767 is still waiting for permission to land on the coast of County Sligo.
The decommissioned passenger jet is 5km off the coast, nearly at the end of its epic sea journey from Shannon airport to its new home at a glamping site in Eniscrone.
Sea conditions meant this morning's planned landing had to be put off until this evening.
The project - which has sparked the "Plane Sailing" hashtag - is the brain-child of local entrepreneur and undertaker David McGowan.
Local people are full of praise for the local hero:
The Anton Savage show has been with the story from the start and is broadcasting live from Eniscrone from 11 this morning.
