The landing gear has been deployed on a tiny spacecraft aiming to touch down on a fast-moving comet nearly 500 million kilometres from earth.
The descent is the most nail-biting phase of a ten year mission, in the first attempt in history to land on a comet.
The mission aims to solve some of the mysteries of the universe, like where water comes from.
