A new charity is to launch next month aiming to help better educate men on the detection and treatment of illnesses.
The Tony Fenton foundation will formally launch with a Golf Classic at Carton House on the 22nd of September.
The legendary Today FM DJ passed away in 2015 after a five year battle with cancer.
The charity, which has achieved official status, was set up by Tony’s brother, Paul Fagan.
Paul has vowed to continue the great work Tony did during his illness, of encouraging Irish men to stay on top of their health.
'The Tony Fenton Golf Classic' will consist of a ten hole game of golf, dinner and entertainment.
The foundation is calling on golfers to get together to raise funds for men's health awareness and to #GetAGrip in relation to prevention, detection and treatment.
