German prosecutors have found torn up sick notes at the home of the co-pilot accused of deliberately crashing the plane.

Officials say documents have been seized which prove he was receiving medical treatment, including a sick note for the day of the disaster.

149 people died when the Airbus crashed in the French Alps on Tuesday.
