The government wants to boost the value of tourism up to 5 billion euro by the year 2025.
It's currently worth 3 and a half billion to the economy every year, and Minister Paschal Donohoe will launch new ways to grow it later.
It's also hoped the plans will see the number of tourism workers boosted by a quarter of a million over the next 10 years.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny will join the Minister for the launch in Kilkenny Castle this afternoon.
Minister Donohoe says the plan focuses on three main areas:
