The head of a new campaign to stop out of control drinking in Ireland says our relationship with alcohol is like a toxic romance that has to change.
The campaign is being led by Fergus Finlay of BarnardoÂ’s, and includes representatives from politics, parents groups, doctors and other health workers.
But a social campaigner believes itÂ’s a feel good offensive funded by the drinks giant Diageo, and it wonÂ’t work.
