Toyota says it's baffled by a ruling that prevents it from using the catchphrase, the Best Built Cars in the World.

In a statement, the car manufacturer says the Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland has decided to uphold a complaint - filed on behalf of Volkswagen.

The AA's Director of Consumer Affairs, Conor Faughnan, says he's also mystified by the decision as the slogan has been around for 20 years and has been proven to be correct previously.
