The Transport Minister has urged bus unions to call off planned industrial action - saying he's prepared to give legal guarantees about jobs and conditions.
Paschal Donohoe says a planned strike by N-B-R-U workers on the 1st of May is unnecessary.
The union is taking industrial action in protest at plans to privatise 10 per cent of Dublin Bus routes - while SIPTU is also considering action.
