The tribunal into an alleged smear campaign against Sergeant Maurice McCabe gets underway tomorrow at Dublin Castle.
The inquiry will also examine the circumstances of the Tusla file created against Mr McCabe, which carried false allegations of sex abuse.
It will also look into allegations made by other Garda whistleblowers of alleged smear campaigns against them.
