The TV presenter and singer, Cilla Black, has died at the age of 72.
Spanish police say she passed away at her home near Marbella.
Born Priscilla White, she was a pop star in the 1960s before going on to present TV shows including Blind Date and Surprise Surprise.
The former TV executive Michael Grade says she quickly found her feet.
