Tributes have been paid to Garda Tony Golden, and the other members of An Garda Siochana who lost their lives in the line of duty.

Garda Golden was shot dead while responding to a domestic dispute in Co. Louth in October last year- His wife Nicola was presented with a medal in his honour.

The annual service at Dublin Castle, was attended by the Taoiseach, Tanaiste, the Garda Commissioner, as well as friends and relatives of deceased members of the force.
