In the US, Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump has delayed the announcement of his running mate due to the events in the south of France.

Mr Trump tweeted, in light of the horrible attack in Nice, he has postponed a news conference concerning his Vice Presidential announcement.

It's expected that Mr Trump will reveal that Indiana governor Mike Pence will be added to his ticket.

US news channels have reported that the 57-year-old Christian evangelical has already accepted the vice presidential slot.
