US President Donald Trump has denied making insensitive comments to the widow of a US soldier who was killed in an ambush in Niger earlier this month.
Congresswoman Frederica Wilson claims she heard him say Sergeant La-David Johnson 'knew what he signed up for'.
Democrat Congresswoman totally fabricated what I said to the wife of a soldier who died in action (and I have proof). Sad!

I still stand by my account of the call b/t @realDonaldTrump and Myeshia Johnson. That is her name, Mr. Trump. Not "the woman" or "the wife"

President Trump is sticking by his story and says he had a good conversation with Myeshia Johnson:
However, Sergeant Johnson's mother later told a newspaper Mr Trump did 'disrespect' her son.
