US President Donald Trump has accused some of his country's best known news organisations of being an "enemy of the American people".

In a tweet, President Trump targeted the country's biggest news outlets including CNN, the New York Times and ABC.

Meanwhile thousands of Mexicans have linked arms on their country's border with the US, protesting against Mr Trump's plan to build a massive wall.

His proposals to keep undocumented immigrants out of the US, and make Mexico foot the bill for construction, has angered many.
