Donald Trump has been confirmed as the Republican nominee to be US president.
He secured the support of over half of the delegates at the party's national convention in Ohio.
Indiana Governor Mike Pence has been confirmed as his running mate.
Shortly after he secured the nomination, the billionaire businessman said it would be an honour to lead the party - and promised victory over Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.
Such a great honor to be the Republican Nominee for President of the United States. I will work hard and never let you down! AMERICA FIRST!
