Donald Trump has finally confirmed he's being investigated by the FBI - by tweeting about it.

The US President appears to have acknowledged he's part of the probe over alleged Russian interference in the election.

He also seemed to accuse the US deputy attorney general of pursuing a "witch hunt".

The President's ally, and former speaker of the house Newt Gingrich, says he needs to reign in his online outbursts.
