Two people have been arrested in connection with the death of a man in Sligo.
A man in his 50s was found with stab wounds at his home in Sligo town at about lunchtime yesterday.
The body of the well known local musician was found with stab wounds at his apartment on Holborn Street - by a man who was visiting at about lunchtime.
Gardaí had been treating the death as suspicious and this morning have arrested two people - a man in his late 20s and a woman in her mid 20s.
They're being questioned at Sligo Garda Station - where they can be held for up to 24 hours.
Meanwhile, a post mortem will be carried out on the body of the deceased this morning.
