Two children have died in separate farm accidents.
In Limerick, investigations are continuing after a 14 year old boy died when he was electrocuted at a farm in Kilmeady.
His body was taken to University Hospital Limerick for a post-mortem.
The Health and Safety Authority has been notified.
Elsewhere, a 9 year old girl has died in hospital in Dublin, after an incident at a farm in Co. Laois earlier this week.
