Two secondary school students and a Ukrainian skier have died after an avalanche in the French Alps.
A team of 60 rescuers is searching for 20 other people who are still missing after it happened in the Deux Alpes area this afternoon.
A number of others are still missing.
The injured members of the party have been taken to a hospital in Grenoble.
It's understood the secondary school students were from Lyon.
Conditions for skiing and hiking have been difficult recently because of heavy snowfall for several days.
