Two people have been killed after a light aircraft made an emergency landing on a beach in Portugal.
The incident happened at Caparica, about 30km south of Lisbon.
Officials said those who died were a 50-year-old man and an 8-year-old girl.
The beach is reported to have been packed with sunbathers when the plane landed.
Reports suggest some beach-goers ran into the sea to avoid the plane.
The pilot and a passenger survived, and video of the aftermath shows angry locals confronting them.
