Two men are due in court in Dublin this morning, as part of Operation Acer, which has seen a Garda crackdown on burglaries.
The pair were arrested after gardai seized electrical equipment, including an angle grinder, a hand drill, smoke alarm and mobile phones during searches of premises at St Louise's Park in Blackrock.
A quantity of cannabis Herb and cannabis resin were also discovered.
The men aged 36 and 43 years are due before Dun Laoghaire District Court.
Gardai are reminding the public to protect their homes, especially during the dark winter days.
They're advising people ensure windows and doors are secured, leave lights on when they're out, and even put on the alarm when they are home.
