Two men have been arrested in Shannon, County Clare as part of an operation targeting the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs.

A van was stopped and searched in Clonmoney West in Bunratty, yesterday afternoon.

Gardaí seized cannabis herb with an estimated street value of one hundred and ten thousand euro.

A 37 year old man and 27 year old man are currently being detained at Shannon Garda Station.
