Two men have appeared before the non-jury Special Criminal Court charged with the possession of two handguns in DublinÂ’s south inner city.
65 year old Patrick Kennedy of South Earl Street, Dublin 8 and 31 year old Gary Yeung of Bawnmore View, Crossagalla, Limerick were arrested on Saturday afternoon on James Street, as part of ongoing investigations in to the activities of dissident republicans in Dublin and Limerick.
Mr Kennedy was also charged with membership of an unlawful organisation whilst Mr Yeung was also charged with possession of ammunition at his home address on the same date.
