Two men will be sentenced later this month for facilitating the murder of Keane Mulready-Woods, who was killed in a house in Drogheda, Co Louth in 2020.

The 17-year-old’s remains were later found near the house where he was murdered as well as a number of locations in Dublin.

On this day three years ago, human remains were found inside a sports bag in Coolock in Dublin.

A human skull was found in the boot of a burning car in Drumcondra the following day and more remains were later found near a house in Drogheda.

Keane Mulready-Woods’ mother had reported her teenage son as a missing person on the same day the remains were found in Coolock.

The body parts were a match for the 17yo.

Today, Gerard Cruise admitted facilitating Keane’s murder at Rathmullen Park in Drogheda.

He’s the second man to plead guilty to the charge. Last month, Paul Crosby of Rathmullen Park, pleaded to the same offence.

Their sentence hearing is due to take place on the 23rd of this month.
