Two people have been arrested in Cork City following the seizure of Cocaine worth an estimated street value of 40 thousand euro.

A man and a woman in their 50's were arrested following the search of a house in the Fairhill area of Cork City.

The seizure was made by the Gurranabraher Divisional drug squad.

The man and woman are being held at Mayfield Garda Station.
