Two men have been injured in a stabbing at Mountjoy Prison in Dublin. They are being treated at the Mater Hospital for non life threatening injuries.
One of the men is believed to be 29 year old Thomas Fox from Rutland Court in Dublin 1. Mr Fox is currently awaiting trial in connection with the murder of Gareth Hutch a nephew of Gerry 'the Monk' Hutch.
A third man who intervened in the row was injured.
They received medical assistance at the scene before being transferred to the Mater Hospital.
Gardai and the Irish Prison Service are now investigating.
