It's thought nearly two-thirds of pupils will lose or damage their school uniform or equipment within the first term of the new academic year.
A survey of 2-thousand parents has found jumpers, shoes and PE kits are apparently most likely to get ruined or go missing.
More than half of parents say they'd struggle to afford replacement items.
Here are the items most likely to be lost or damaged by schoolchildren, according to the survey from Dell, with the percentage of parents who said their child previously had done this:
