A woman and her friend who say they are travelling to Britain for an abortion are live-tweeting the experience.
The hashtag "Two Women Travel" has started trending on the social media site.
The women have posted pictures of their journey to Manchester, where one of them will have an abortion.

The account is promoting the campaign to Repeal the Eighth amendment.
Many of the tweets are directed at the Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
