Two thirds of Irish people believe the country is better prepared for the future INSIDE the European Union.

But a new survey has also found that a quarter of the Irish public believes Ireland would be better off outside the EU.

The finding comes in a new Europe-wide survey measuring attitudes to the EU.

Ireland comes joint 7th in terms of positive sentiment to the EU, while Slovenia emerges as being even more Eurosceptic than the UK.
