Britain's defence secretary says he expects a vote in Parliament on whether to expand military action against Isis into Syria.

Michael Fallon has told the Conservative party conference that the UK's already bombing Islamic State targets in Iraq, day and night.

He claims there's growing support to extend the airstrikes - but Syria's president Bashar Al Assad says his country's future isn't up to other nations.
