The oldest tree in Britain could be undergoing a sex change.

The tree in Scotland - which is nearly 5,000 years old - has recently started sprouting berries.

But yew trees only have berries if they're female - and the tree in question has never grown berries before.

Biologists say it might be a survival tactic to keep the tree living for even longer.
