A UN panel has ruled - that Julian Assange is being "arbitrarily detained" by the UK and Sweden.

The Wikileaks founder claimed asylum in the Ecuadorian embassy in London in 2012 - after he was accused of rape in Sweden.

He has always denied the claim.

Professor Mads Andenas is a former chair of the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention.
