The United Nations is to send a 12 thousand-strong peacekeeping force to the Central African Republic.
France already has troops in its troubled former colony where thousands have been killed in religious violence.
Today the UN Security Council voted to send an international force to help restore order.
It's not yet clear which countries will participate in the operation.
