Unemployment has fallen to its lowest level in seven years, to 8.8 percent.

190,600 people were out of work in December, a drop of over 29 thousand.

It comes as Enterprise Ireland marks its most successful year ever, with a net increase of 10 thousand jobs in exporting companies.
