The leader of trade union the TEEU says developments like recent pay concessions to Gardaí have left the Landsdowne Road pay deal "in considerable doubt".
General Secretary Paddy Kavanagh told the union's biennial conference in Portlaoise that the agreement was " in urgent need of correction".
He called for clear timetable for unwinding the FEMPI legislation that brought in pay cuts in the public sector.
The union represents about 40 thousand people in the electrical, engineering and other trades, many of them in the public sector.
