Aer Lingus unions will meet IAG Chief Willie Walsh today to discuss the future of jobs if the airline is sold.
Representatives of IMPACT, SIPTU and ICTU are all attending the meeting in Dublin this morning - and will be seeking cast-iron guarantees about employment terms and conditions.
Willie Walsh says, if the takeover goes ahead, some jobs will be lost at Aer Lingus HQ due to duplication - but has promised hundreds of more jobs among air crew and mechanics.
Despite that, SIPTU Divisional Organiser Owen Reidy says unions are still sceptical.
