The United States has attacked a Syrian airbase with around 60 missiles in response to this week's deadly chemical attack in Idlib which killed 80 people.
They were fired from warships in the Mediterranean - and targeted a government-controlled site.
The US has blamed President Assad for the chemical weapons attack - while the regime says it's the victim of American aggression.
France, Italy, Germany and the UK have all backed the move which is the first American intervention in Syria's six-year war.
