Van Morrison will celebrate his 70th birthday today by playing a special gig in his native east Belfast.

The singer-songwriter will perform on Cyprus Avenue, which was immortalised in one of his most famous songs.

He'll perform two concerts this afternoon, having agreed to add a second show when tickets for the first sold out within minutes.
