Gardai have recovered a car that was hijacked from a Dublin woman, in an attack that left her with serious head injuries.
The woman in her 50s was assaulted during the carjacking yesterday afternoon, while she was driving into her apartment complex at Argyle House on Serpentine Avenue in Ballsbridge.
The silver ford focus was found this morning, and Gardai are still looking for the two people involved - believed to be a man and a woman.
The Irish Daily Mirror's Crime Correspondent Cathal McMahon says it was an extremely violent, vicious and random attack against a woman named locally as Liz Turley.
