The inquest into the deaths of brothers Eoghan and Ruairi Chada has returned verdicts of unlawful killing.
The 10 and 5 year olds were found dead in their fathers crashed car in Co. Mayo in July of last year, a day after they'd been reported missing from their Carlow home.
Sanjeev Chada is now serving a life sentence after pleading guilty to murdering his sons.
The inquest in Castlebar today heard 16 witness statements including those from Gardai who attend the scene.
Irish Independent reporter Caroline Crawford who attended the inquest says the testimony was extremely harrowing.
