A candle lit vigil will take place outside the Dail later to highlight the homelessness and housing crisis.

It's after the body of a homeless man in his 40s was discovered in a doorway on Molesworth Street in Dublin at around 8 o'clock yesterday morning.

Groups working with homeless people are calling for immediate action.

The vigil will take place at Leinster House from 5.30 this evening.
