Nine out of 10 Volkswagen drivers believe they should receive compensation if they're caught up in the diesel emissions scandal.
A survey of over 2-thousand motorists who own a VW - by consumer group Which? - shows a similar number said the environmental impact was a key consideration when they bought their vehicle.
The car-maker hasn't yet said if owners of cars fitted with software used to cheat U.S. pollution tests will get a payout.
