Volvo says it's recalling 59,000 cars worldwide, to fix a fault that can cause the engine and electrics to shut down while driving.

It says the vehicles need a software update - but no accidents have been reported so far.

The cars affected are S60, V60, XC60, V70, XC70.

Affected customers will be contacted by their local dealer.
