The head of the group trying to buy Aer Lingus says he doesn't see any reason why he would cancel its routes from Heathrow to Cork and Shannon.
Willie Walsh says he'd be surprised if the routes weren't already profitable for Aer Lingus, so there's no reason to cut them.
He's told the Oireachtas Transport Committee that some jobs would be lost if I-A-G takes over - but they would be replaced by the growth in the airline.
But he says it wouldn't make sense to cut routes from Heathrow, if they carry passengers who can then transfer elsewhere:
