A war of words has broken out between the Environment Minister and Dublin City Council over efforts to tackle homelessness in the capital.

Alan Kelly's accusing local authorities of Nimbyism around homeless people and says he wants greater cooperation from councillors.

But Sinn Fein, which has the majority on Dublin City Council, says Minister Kelly's not meeting his responsibilities to homeless people.
