The European Consumer Centre has issued a warning to consumers to check who exactly they are dealing with if buying car parts online.

The Centre says it has received numerous complaints from Irish people who purchased motor parts in England online and paid a money transfer only for the items not to be sent.

Grace Duffy of the ECC office in Dublin, says consumers should check the credibility of such websites before parting with money.
