Wayne Rooney has admitted a drink-driving charge - and been banned from getting behind the wheel for two years.
The former England captain was pulled over in Cheshire in the UK earlier this month, after a night out while his pregnant wife and three sons were on holiday.
He appeared before Stockport Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
Magistrates also ordered him to do 100 hours of unpaid work as part of a 12-month community order.
Rooney retired from international football in August.
He has also rejoined his boyhood club Everton after 13 years at Manchester United.
